Storm on the Horizon?

Lisa called last night just before I went to bed.

They've got tar paper on the roof, and some shingles on the second floor roof.

And a good thing, too: she said a "winter-type storm" is predicted for Thursday (30% chance) and possibly Friday (50%... with THUNDERSTORMS).

Great.

Also, she received a letter from the county assessor. They've received information about a permit request. Guess they want information so they can raise our property taxes. OK, I'm willing to pay more. Next year. But as the house will have been uninhabitable for six months... I want to pay less this year.

I willing to be I won't get my way on this one.

I'm just hoping it won't rain...
