Still Waiting

It's Friday morning. Last night, Lisa called to say that she had dropped by the house. The plumbers were at work installing the fixtures. I forgot to ask if doors we had purchased a week ago today (under seemingly urgent pressure by Frank) have been installed yet.

The shingles have not... tar paper ("waterproof!" we're assured) is up, but alas, no shingles.... I'm wondering if that has even been ordered (even though we submitted our color choice in the middle of last week).

Luckily, it hasn't begun to rain yet... but it is coming:

And that chunk of rain has been growing slowly and moving even more slowly to the east over the last day... but moving north (rather than easterly) in the last few hours.

Now the hourly percentages look something like this:
20%-30% for the next six hours
40%-60% for the following twenty-four hours
then it trails off to 20%-10%
at least now there's not special alert for weather... we may avoid big rain yet...
