Fred

Met with Fred today. These are really good meetings. They allow us to reconnect and feel good about a process that sometimes feels (completely) out of our control.

The progress is good, he says. Yes, the east stair window will need to shrink. If we're going to install the safe, it should be before we drywall the interior of the under-the-stairwell closet. The drip for the HVAC condensor needs to move slightly.

We now have homework, selecting paint chips for the exterior from Dunn Edwards, and getting a full pricing of all our plumbing fixtures (faucets, tub, sinks, shower [though the tub/shower fixtures have already been relayed to Dana], etc.). Of course, it's Sunday and both places are closed today... we'll need to make a couple of commando runs this week (as I'll be heading out of town for two of the following three weeks). [this will be easier said than done, as Jack begins basketball tomorrow, and Kyle gets back to water polo practice after absences since the middle of last week... plus, Kyle's games begin next Saturday]

I feel good about the process. I just don't feel great. Just kind of blah (not quite blech, yet). I want to feel really good about all this before I'm gone for an entire week.
