[OK, Plumbing tangent: he worked on the shower and it seems OK for now... but who knows for certain. He told us to call the office and give them a list of the issues, and they would give us an estimate over the phone to give to Wes... we'll do that tomorrow...]
it was nice to get out of the condo and see some progress on our HOUSE. And, man, had there been changes!
The debris is gone, and a sign has popped up.

And a dumpster with the debris inside it.

A garage full of dirt? Huh?

Walked around the side of the house... the forms are still there, but now they have rebar in them. Looks like they're ready to pour... time to get the checkbook out. I entered through the kitchen door as they cleaned up for the day. The kitchen hole seemed deeper...

and now with rebar! But if it's deeper, where'd the dirt go?

Oh...

And not just the kitchen... check out the mound in the living room!

Rebar and the beginnings of the footings are taking shape...

I turned the corner into the hall... to see the master bedroom THROUGH THE BATH! Cool.

And from the other angle...

And the beginnings of footings here as well...

And I headed out the garage, and turned back to look at what used to be our house... and soon (ok, not so soon) to be our home.

Kyle and Lisa were blown away by the scene (though I think seeing all this makes Lisa a little sad, or if not sad, wistful... "six months", "six months", "six months"... keep repeating...)
