Yesterday was filled with packing and dismantling. Jason came over and did a job on the entertainment center (as he had the night before on the boys' bunk beds ... which are already at the condo [hotter than hell in the boys' room... gotta get a fan for in there]). He also took a look at the California Closet stuff and announced that those should be easy as well.
The bedroom unit was easy... around an hour. The kitchen one, however... was more problematic. About a year after we purchased it, was say it beginning to sag. We called them in, and they made repairs to it. And it was stronger. But it also wasn't "regular" anymore. So the two side-by-side units didn't come apart as easily. Only one (the one with doors and drawers) came out usable. That's OK... it will go into the garage anyway.
This morning we wait for the pod... arrival time: anytime between 7:30 - 10. At ten, both sides of the street go into "street sweeping" mode, which means tickets for any vehicle parked on the street. We'll need to move my car onto the lawn for the four-hour period. Lisa will take Kyle to JG and find out about prorating the fees (or getting him signed up for second session). Then she'll take him to the doc and see what the treatment options are for the foot. The plan is to drop Kyle and Jack off at Dad's so they'll be out of our hair on our last full packing day.
Productivity today (salaried work-wise) will be ... small.
