Morning

It's eight in the morning. The phone woke me... I finally went to bed last night at 2:30, after finishing the Deathly Hallows. Pretty good... I'd rate it my second-most favorite of the series (Prisoner of Azkaban is still my favorite, the emotional core, I feel, of the series).

Around midnight, Lisa woke and came out to see me. I told her what was happening to the shower. She said that she ran the garbage disposal and dishwasher earlier today, and there was a little bit of back up--some simple bubbling--then. But the current pan-wide backflow of water goes far beyond that.

Then she said that we needed to call the "emergency" maintenance company and have them come out again.

And then came the shocker. She feels that if this happens again, we should attempt to get out of our lease. If this is constant, it really is NOT a two-bed, two-bath condo, and thus our lease doesn't apply because we rented based on those requirements.

This morning, the shower is less full of water, but still unusable. And her thoughts are the same. Only now she doesn't want to call the management until tomorrow. She doesn't want to make us wait around the condo all day.

This is the email I just sent Wes:

Wes.

An update:
Yesterday afternoon, we ran the garbage disposal and the dishwasher, and there was a slight bubbling up in the boys's shower. We "Draino"'ed it but it really didn't do anything.

Last night at 10:30, the upstairs neighbor ran his laundry (I was on the couch late reading the new Harry Potter); by 11, I was smelling either bleach or the Draino. I went into the boys' bath, and saw the full-water back-up again.

This morning, the water is less, but the shower is still unusable. We'll have the boys shower in our bath today.

Lisa and I will be calling Lurnow (sp?), the "emergency" number tomorrow... quite frankly, we don't want to waste another day waiting for plumbers.

This is from Wednesday afternoon:

This is from Wednesday night (after two plumber visits):

This is from last night (after the third plumber visit Friday, and after our upstairs neighbor ran a load of wash):

As you can see from these photos, this is not simply some rust coming up when we run our washer... the situation is getting very old, very quickly.

This sucks.
