Long Day

It's been a long day. But a good one, since most of it was remodel-free. After I returned from taking measurements for curtains (a stop-gap measure until we can afford the shutters Lisa really wants) and taking pictures (far too many to display here... a kind of snapshot of where we are now, pre-move... so check out the photo viewer ferchrissakes!), Lisa started a revision of the letter for he-who-must-not-be-named... one that I'll have on me tomorrow when Dad and I work on the closets in the boys' rooms... in case HE shows up... I can just hand him the letter and say, "We'll talk about all this tomorrow, but here's where we are coming from...". I uploaded the pics to the site, and we went to spend the rest of the day at Dad's for his birthday. We watched a UCLA basketball game (victory of course) and our bowl game (heartbreaker, as is the whole concept of Bruin Football anyway). No real news of the house, save for the delivery of the POD (which we will begin to toy with tomorrow). Nothing else seemed to happen... I cruised by the house to check on the POD around 2pm, and no one was there working on the trench/pipe/water supply... I'm a little concerned that all that stuff is out in the open with now no fence... but IT AIN'T MY RESPONSIBILITY, natch.

And with that, check out the photos, and good night now.
