Last night was HomeDepot to order shower doors... egad. $1600. But that's for both of them, so I guess I should be thankful. The boys went with me to check out house numbers and mailboxes; they found signs with which they want to decorate their rooms (no trespassing, employees only, no smoking; exit, etc... guess that's more economical than the murals I was planning). We were hoping to get a call from the shower guy to set up a measurement appointment before the end of the week...
The shower door guy called today: the earliest he can measure is next Tuesday. If I read the contract correctly, there's a 17-day lag between measurement and installation. So that would mean 23 days from today... or December 28.
Tonight, we went by Carpeteria. Michael will come by tomorrow morning at 9:30... so I'll meet him there, he'll do the measurement and... we'll see how much that'll cost us and when we'll have something underfoot upstairs.
