Coastline claimed to know our plans "like the back of (his) hand;" his failure to follow those plans exhibits either gross negligence or malice. Issues include:

• Failure to enlarge two windows (garage and bathroom 2).
• Failure to install two windows (stairwell and master bath).
• Failure to install closet doors as per blueprint (linen/accordion; master closet/pocket).
• Failure to build kitchen island as designed (no overhanging cabinet structure; failure to install curved granite island bar).
• Failure to build kitchen nook booth.
• Failure to build upstairs bedroom desks (x2).
• Failure to create attic access for first floor roof.
• Failure to install wood stair rail as designed.
• Failure to replace shingles damaged by paint overspray of eaves.
• Failure to clean/repair porch damaged by paint overspray of eaves.
• Failure to build kitchen step landing as designed.
• Failure to build backyard deck between master bedroom and dining room as designed.
  

Coastline disregarded our attempts to discuss above matters, claiming budget issues on his part (despite his contracted bid's claim to cover the above items "per design" or "per spec" or "per blueprints"). None of above falls under the contracted OWNER responsibilities of: front doors, sinks, faucets, appliances, shower door, toilets, vanities, granite slabs, tile, exterior light fixtures, kitchen cabinet knobs, or closet shelves/hangers.

Go fuck themselves (just kidding).

Replace shingles so roof matches.
Replace porch tile.
Build kitchen landing & backyard deck as designed.
Replace interior iron stair rail with wood as designed.
Install CURVED granite island bar as designed.
Build breakfast nook booth & built-in upstairs bedroom desks as designed.
Owner forgives:

• loss of enlarged windows in garage & bathroom 2;
  
• missing windows in master bath & stairwell;
  
• kitchen island overhanging cabinetry;
  
• closet door issues & first floor attic access.
